The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn (Review)

so i've watched Breaking Dawn last week. movie yang paling dinanti-nantikan oleh twilighters sekalian alam. kalau ikutkan memang dari segi novel, Breaking Dawn is the best. my fave among the series. bila baca novel dia perghh memang feeling habis. unfortunately, i'm not feeling it from the movie. entahlah. rasa macam kurang umpph lah. maybe because it's part 1 kan. ke sebab scene katil-patah-while-having-sex telah dicut for Malaysian viewer terus tak feel tengok? haha. bukan sebab tu lah hamboi-hamboi. lagipun dah tahu punya, confirm kena cut scene tu. so tak berharap sangat lah part tu. haha.

what i am most disappointed about is the birth scene sebenarnya. rasa macam terlalu simple. dalam buku memanglah cerita detail macam mana venom tu masuk dalam diri Bella bla bla bla. tapi yang movie ni just tetiba tunjuk blood vein macam ala-ala CSI lah pulak. then suddenly scene Rosalie pegang Renesmee and baju Edward berlumuran darah. cam tu je. eh ke cinema yang aku pergi ni je yang potong part-part birth? huhu...

lagi satu. part serigala bercakap sesama mereka. perlu kah?

okay. my favourite part pulak? dah tentu-tentulah scene wedding kan. cliche betul aku ni. sebab apa suka sangat? well, selain dari sweet gilavavi and super gorgeous decoration, it is mainly because dorang tunjukkan flashback scenes from the first movie. heart it a lot. lagi-lagi diorang letak lagu 'Flightless Bird, American Mouth' as the background music when they recite their vows. terus rasa aaahhhhh...swoon.

dari 10 bintang, i give this a movie a 7. mainly because of the wedding scene. not the honeymoon part since i feel like it was a bit exaggerated. lama gila honeymoon tapi main chess je lebih. boleh? i truly feel like it's worth watching lah especially those getting married. boleh tiru decoration macam dalam movie ni. hehe. 

footnote : can't wait for the movie 'The Avengers' to hit theaters!

eclipse : is it worth watching for?

twilight twilight. sigh. where do i even begin. even after new moon and now eclipse, i don't care if it hit the box office status i'd still prefer the first film. it was magical. the chemistry was amazing. i'd watched it all over again whenever they're showing on star movies. the soundtracks was the best, i even listened to the whole album. who can't forget Supermassive Black Hole and Flightless Bird American Mouth right? even the whole storyline was good. is it because it was directed by a woman? hmm...

anyway, while new moon was like a dead bored to me, eclipse was just OK compared to new moon. eclipse is way funnier but that was just it. i think in eclipse one character that stands out among the rest was Jasper. that guy was super cool. i kinda like him in this one. i think he and jacob save eclipse. and oh yeah, that new born dude, Riley too.

the first film i was like head over heels with rob as edward (i mean who doesn't right?). the second one was jacob all the way with those abs and the wolf pack. this third time however, i'll pick jasper as my favourite. jasper got my heart baby.

ok lah. kang peminat twilight marah saya review filem eclipse ni. huhu. dari 5 bintang saya bagi 2.5 bintang. it's n0t totally bad but it's not totally good either. i don't think i'll watch it again. well unless lah kalau taylor lautner ajak teman dia tengok dia bertukar menjadi werewolf. cewah.

New Moon : a flop?

well...hello people of planet earth.

cewah poyo gitu! haha. anyway, i just got back from watching New Moon with my sister, eqah. arrived home pretty late, after midnight. my parents were asleep when i got home.

ok, i know you're excited to know about New Moon. haha, perasanlah weh kau ni. ;p

for me it's pretty B.O.R.I.N.G. well, i kinda expect it to be boring to tell you the truth that's why i'm not hoping on it too much. yup, boring sampai saya tanya my sister 'bila nak habis ni?' and i can take my own sweet time pergi ladies tak kesah pun kalau termiss any parts. hehe. seriously people, what happened to the twilight ni? omg. the only one that keep me sane at my seat was Jacob. and those buzzing about Dakota Fanning acting in twilight is a piece of crap. why? because she's only uttered 5 lines ok. 5 lines tapi kecohnya macam rusa masuk kampung. eh betul ke peribahasa ni teehee.

anyway, tapi memang antara novel Stephenie Meyer ni New Moon is the most boring among the four and the least favourite. i'm not being bias. i've read the book. which was way lot better than the actual movie even though the 2nd series of twilight novel were pretty much boring (i read it last year though!) but now i'm reading it again, thanks to Nisa for lending me hers. i read it again just for the sake nak dapat clear view. the best? the final saga. Breaking Dawn. that one is totally awesome. heard that it might be made into 2 movies like the final series of Harry Potter tapi no confirmation made.

from the scale of 1 to 5, i gave this movie a 2.5 for the cgi effects of Jacob turning into a werewolf and showing lots of skin. and those abs. ok, now i'm being bias. haha.

go watch it : if you're reallllly realllllllllllllllly Twihard fans that you'll die if you skipped on this one. or if you want to see Robert Pattinson half-naked or if you really wondering how on earth a 17 years old can get a body like that (referring this to Jacob. ok asyik Jacob je kan. hehe!)

ok...i'm off to bed now. dreaming of Jacob. zzzz....................

* haven't watch New Moon though. hehe. like i said in my twitter page...don't know why i'm not really excited about the movie. it's gotten so huge now sometimes it annoys me. i used to go ga-ga over Robert Pattinson before he became this 'celebrity'. every gossip column that i read on the internet, there's always something about his life. i repeat. his life. not his career. yes, he's good looking. but is he gonna stuck with Edward for the rest of his life? please don't hate me for not liking Rob anymore. it's just that i grew tired of it. but i'll still watch New Moon though..soon just for the sake of seeing the wolf pack abs acts.

twilight saga continues

just finished reading Breaking Down, the final book of the Twilight series.
one word to describe it : SUPERB!

the best finale you could've ever imagined. really enjoy every pages. makes me fell in love with not just Edward, but the rest of the Cullens as well. actually, i fell in love with all of the vampires.
Good Vampires vs Volturi. and there's Reneesme, Edward and Bella's daughter.

can't wait for the final series to be on the silver screen. haisyy...i will be pushing 30 kot when the movie finally opened. (tidakkkk!!!) cewah! ye la, New Moon will be complete in 2010 (i will be 25 years old). Cuba bayangkan yang final movie tu bila pula nak dicompletekan. and Robert will be pushing 30 too (a year younger than me) i started reading it last night, around 10 p.m and finished reading it 6.15 pm today. it consisted of 856 pages.

anyway, i also have read Midnight Sun, still from Stephenie Meyer. but not the whole book. i only managed to have until chapter 12 in ebook. well, Midnight Sun is sort of the spin-off of Twilight. i fell in love with it already. can't resist the charms. cewah! all 4 of the twilight books centered around Bella's thoughts and actions while Midnight Sun revolves around Edward and his mind-reading ability.


by the way, anyone of you know where i can get a copy of Midnight Sun?
went to Kinokuniya & MPH Online last weekend but there isn't any.

New Moon...not so much

i have read the New Moon (2nd installment of Twilight series).
it didn't have really the 'umph' factor.
not so much Edward, too much Jacob.
basically it's more like Bella and Jacob story.
except where Jacob becomes the werewolf was kinda interesting.

will the 2nd movie be interesting, considering the lack of the 'umph' factor in the novel?
i wonder.
have to wait till 2010 for the release of New Moon.

twilight saga

i just finished reading the Twilight novel (ebook given by Za). i think the novel was much better than the movie kot. to me la tapi. enjoy gilalah baca novel dia. i cannot stop reading it til the end. couldn't really focused on anything else, just the book. makes me dying to read New Moon as soon as possible. but i can bet it will get me stucked just what Twilight did to me. I have to remind myself that I'm working and I need to focus on my work and don't sleep late.

can't really help it though. darn it.
ni semua Edward Cullen punya pasal.

twilight zone

just got back from watching Twilight with my sister.
been dying to watch since the day it was released.
well, i didn't read the novel before.
heard of it, but wasn't that keen to read it.
i remember seeing the cover of the book.
anyway, overall the movie was kinda slow.
i was expecting some fast-pace action terbang-terbang and fight scene.
it did have some but not so much.
not a lot of scenes that makes my jaw drop except for a few like when Edward drove crazily to save Bella (dah macam aksi drifting) and where the Cullens run through the jungle (laju sey).
and also, masa the Cullens were playing baseball.
pergh! that one was superb lah weh!
i feel like Robert Pattinson was born to play Edward Cullen.
You know like some people are born to be something.
contoh macam Daniel Radcliffe really the best to play Harry Potter and Viggo Mortensen was born to play Aragorn...apa aku merepek ni tapi you got the point lah kan.

back to the movie.
it wasn't the best vampire movie for me though.
if you're into that damn hot vampire and a mortal caught in a forbidden love, then this is the movie for you.
the acting was quite good too actually.
apart from Robert and Kristen, the guy who plays James (the tracker vampire) really good too (quite handsome if you asked me.ewah).
i've seen better vampire movies (remember Van Helsing?).
it was just good enough.
but it was worth a watch, i'm not lying.

tapi seriously, i fell in love with Robert in this movie
(aku tau korang mesti cakap dah agak kan).
seriously, he's gorgeous in this.
like his eyes...her killer asset. (cewah!)
can't believe that he was the same person who plays Cedric Diggory in the 4th Harry Potter movie.
that time, i do not really feel like he did much.
i'm torn between two English guys.
Robert Pattinson and Ben Barnes.
Who is Ben Barnes? Go and google it.
hehe..
overall, i give this movie 3.5 bintang...
