I like Chinese New Year this time around. No, not because I received an ang pau or something. It's just that it was so...FUN! Even though I did not celebrate the CNY, but hell...it seems to me like i'm celebrating it. Like I said in my previous post, I went back to Johor Bahru, gathering with my cousins and Irfan (of course!).
On Sunday, kitorang pun joinlah buat makan besar as the Chinese. Serius rasa cam kami je yang terlebih sudah, konon macam celebrate. Hukhuk. Oleh sebab dah request before this that Kak Pika (my cousin - she married my abang saudara. A Sarawakian muallaf) to cook us Laksa Sarawak and Umai (I craved for Umai lama dah), jadi terhidanglah hidangan yang tak hingat dunia sampai penuh satu meja. There's umai, laksa sarawak, kupang rebus, siput sedut masak lemak (seafood galore. hehe!). Sedap sesangat. Boleh buka gerai ni, cewah!

Then, after makan-makan dah kenyang, jalan-jalan pula. My sister and I followed Abg Chik and Kak Pika (my parents were too full to follow) loitering around kat Danga Bay. Malu nak mengaku sebenarnya this is my first time jejak kaki kat Danga Bay (even though every year balik Johor and lalu area situ tiap-tiap kali balik raya. I'm blushing. hukhuk!). Actually plan nak pergi Singapore tapi damn it!!! tak bawa pula pasport. Geram geram. Kitorang pun pekena teh tarik after dah penat keliling bazaar situ. Not many shops open pun, cutikan. Tengok gak lah bunga-bunga api.

On our back to KL (on Monday), we witnessed the gerhana matahari. bukan saya lah tapi, my parents yang witnessed. I saw it in my dream saja. Hehe. Then, suddenly my mom requested that we singgah sini :
nak singgah Jonker Walk. saja cuti-cuti Malaysia. And I could snap a lot of photos since I did not snap that much photos with the camera (kat JB banyak ambil guna phone camera, that's why tak cun sangat. ewah!). Konon just nak tengok-tengok lah kat Jonker Walk tu, promise myself not to shop but aiyahhh...ended up buying juga. I can't go anywhere without buying something. A habit of mine. Nak kena stop ni. Hikhik.
We arrived home safely at 10pm and straight away zzz......
