gone were the days

i mentioned in my earlier post.
that i have no kampung.
that's right.
when my lovely grandma passed away almost 2 years ago.
we also lost the house too.
not because someone sold the house.
but basically the state government had sold the land to a developer.
to build a highway.
the house had already been destroyed.
nothing left there.
me and my family went back there while in JB.
it was quite an emotional experience.
to see a place where you grew up.
a place where so many memories has been made.
a place that you come home to during festive season.
a place that no longer exist now.

gone were the days where we used to play firecrackers in front of the house.

gone were the days where we used to bath with water from a well inside the bathroom.

gone were the days where the families used to gathered around the living room.

gone were the days where we used to laugh and cried during raya.

gone were the days where the house was full with all the relatives coming to visit.

gone were the days the families used to sleep together inside the house.

gone were the days where the children will lined up asking forgiveness and duit raya on the first day of raya.

hmmm...i really missed the old times.
